Lies! I own only series 1 and 2. That means I've still got about 44 other episodes plus several hours of TV miniseries still to collect!

I do not understand your reticence. I'm sure you've made me watch things just as bad. Like the sentinel.

I have far more Farscape than Sentinel. I think it's because the best thing I have seen of Farscape is fanvideos, and it doesn't capture my imagination in the fandom sense. Plus when people have found out you love it they are like, "haha, that is the terrible show with the puppet aliens". i actually disagree with that because i think one of its strengths is the aliens, which are sorely lacking in SGA, for example. i honestly am not that sure why i dont like it, TBH.

oh man, i WANT to like it? but i don't. i like fanvideos i have seen and i like it's general themes (cool aliens, craziness, hot people) but for some reason i have found it dull/risible so far. what is the fandom like?

You need to stick with it - trust me, it pays off :D

The fandom, I don't really remember. I was so into FS I refused to be fannish about it incase it ruined the show for me, but having said that, the FS fandom actually has some really amazing writers. The first one I'd recommend is [info]cofax.

I haven't watched it since I became old enough to define 'decent dialogue, characterisation and acting', but in every other respect it is simply brilliant.
